Springs & Bolts’ investment journey

Derrick Asamoah Boahen has big dreams for his company – dreams that now are turning into firm strategic plans, thanks to an investment by Growth Investment Partners Ghana LTD (GIP). 

At our launch event for the GhISP and SECO partnership, we gathered some of the key players from Ghana’s investment ecosystem in a lively and insightful panel discussion. Topics included some the main challenges that SMEs face in accessing growth capital, such as governance structures, and environmental and social management, as well as the the partnerships that exist to deliver solutions that help Ghana's SMEs get investor ready. Derrick participated in this panel discussion, offering his experience from the SME perspective on the challenges, as well as the solutions GhISP provided to help his company secure investment.
